Synopsis

I didn’t know she was my student the first time I paid to watch her at Voyeur.

Once she walked into my classroom, another smiling college freshman, I knew I should stop going. Stop watching.
But I couldn’t do it. Everything about her makes me want more, and once I realize she wants me too, the temptation becomes irresistible.
The worst part is that she has no idea her professor is the one watching behind the glass.
I just have to hope that once she finds out the truth, she wants the same thing I do. Because now that I’ve seen all of her, I can’t look away.

My Thoughts

This is my first book by Fiona, and upon reading the synopsis, I was very excited to read it. The starting of the book was very exciting, and I was almost bouncing on my seat, giddy to see how the story plays out.

Professor Callum Pierce has a secret. He is a voyeur. What he wasn’t expecting is to see his favorite performer walk into his classroom the first day of the new semester. He knew it was wrong, yet he couldn’t help his intense attraction towards her.

Oaklyn Derringer had been dealt with a shitty hand at life. A hard worker and overachiever, she is working three jobs while being a full-time student just to make ends meet and reach her goals. I admired that about her a lot.

The book started off with a bang. Having to work closely together, Callum and Oaklyn, formed an unexpected, yet strong friendship. Their connection and attraction towards the other were undeniable, even though they both knew it was wrong, on so many levels.

The book was hot even before the two got together, so you can just imagine the heat level when they were together officially.

Having said that, I was kind of disappointed about halfway through the novel. There was insta-love between the characters which I wasn’t quite a fan of. I felt like there was a lack of plot, and the story dragged a bit as it was the same thing over and over again. I was also a bit pissed at Callum at times.
